Photos have been piling up, from my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , to Halloween decorations, to DOTS. A couple of these have appeared here before, but I trust that you’ll survive the indignity.
Brief Jeep shopping update: I was going to check out a ZJ (first generation Grand Cherokee) tonight, but the seller when asked which engine gave me two completely different answers with no obvious clue as to which he actually meant, so I decided that was enough of a warning to stay away. Otherwise, absolutely nothing’s been happening.
Next year, my hope is to find red LEDs for the eyes and tie them to my brake lights
Every time I see my shadow I think I must have udders.

I see you had one (1) whole participants in your southern Indiana wander! That Subaru Samba looks like such a little bundle of joy. What a dynamic duo!

In today’s episode of “Did you know?”
Those striped signs, and barricades, should always point down and to the direction you have to go to avoid the obstacle. If it’s a barricade with the stripes going both directions, it’s a dead end.
The more you know.
But you probably already knew that...

It did pretty well, but I discouraged him from trying to tackle the trickiest spot we encountered in the Sambar, so he took my Jeep instead.

I’m sure the Sambar could pull that off if he stayed clear of the muddy ruts the Jeep fit into but yeah that might have been much more tricky. And yes, I saw that stall.
Most of the pictures you take look like you could drive them in just about anything though.

Yep, it’s rare for any public road around here to be difficult enough to require 4WD , at least absent snow. I’ve told people interested in joining me they should have some clearance, but 4WD is optional.

That hard packed gravel road looks delightful. If only it wasn’t so straight. . .

The really curvy ones rarely make for an easy photo.
